Mr T. C. Brash, the first layman to be elected Moderator of the Wellington Presbyterian Church, is well known in the Nelson district in connection with the fruit industry. He married a daughter of the late Mr James Allan, Tasman, Nelson. He has been secretary and chief executive officer of the New Zealand Dairy Control Board and President of the New Zealand Fruit Control Board.
