ALSATIAN DOGS
SPECIAL REGISTRATION FEE (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, 19th December. The Heathcote County Council last night decided to fix a special registration fee for Alsatian "dogs. The fees fixed were 2,s fid for working dogs, other dogs 10s, and Alsatians £l. Councillor Havell asked, vjh'en the resolution was proposed: “Have we power to do that? Has the Government done anything in the matter? Has anyone else done it?” The County Clerk: “There is nothing to stop it, although no one "else has .taken such action. 1
