KILLED BY LIGHTNING
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 21st December, 11.0 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Lightning killed Herbert Fletcher, aged 48 years, a dairy farmers, while he was tending cows on his farm near Nowra. His clothes were alight and a dead cow lay beside him when his wife reached his side a few seconds after the tragedy. Other cows lay unconscious in the dairy yard.
