VICTORIAN SINGLES TITLE RETAINED BY QUIST (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, 20th December. Victorian tennis championships in the men’s, singles final, Quiet retained the title defeating Turnbull 6-2, 6-1, 6-2. In the doubles final Q.uist and Turnbull defeated Bromwich and L. Schwartz 8-6, 6-3, 6-4. In the junior singles final Bromwich defeated Gilchrist 6-0, 6-3. The women’s single final resulted ,ih Miss J. Hartigan defeating Mrs Westacott 8-6. 6-2.
