A NEW OPERATION
SUCCESS CLAIMED IN AMERICA (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! NEW YORK, 17th December. The journal of the American Medical Association announced that a new surgical operation restored the potentialities of fatherhood of 31 of 51 subjects. Eighteen other operations were recently apparently succesful. ■The operation differs, from the Steinac operation because it restores virility without destroying the possibility of fatherhood.' It does not include grafting glands but involves the shortening of certain muscles.
