DROUGHT-RESISTING WHEAT
developed at university of alberta BLEND OF THREE VARIETIES (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) EDMONTON, 17th December. The University of Alberta announced the development of drought-resist-ing wheat jhardy enough to withstand permanent wilting in a severe heat wave. It is said to have good milling and cereal qualities. The result was obtained through blending the Russian, Siberian and Canadian varieties.
