GANG METHODS REVIVE
MURDER IN COLD BLOOD (Received 19th December, 8.30 a.m.) CHICAGO, 18th December. A revival of the gang methods of the prohibition era occurred when three young gunmen separated Thomas Scaduto, aged 25 years, from a crowd of fifteen men in a billiard room, stood him against the wall and shot him dead with pistols and a shotgun. They walked to an automobile and drove away. , ■ , , The police revealed that the dead man’s brother, Joseph Scaduto, was killed mysteriously in New York two months ago. The motive is not learned.
