ALL ENGLAND LAWN TENNIS CLUB Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 17th December. “The Telegraph” says that Sir Louis Greig has been elecfed chairman of the All English Tennis Club. He partnered King George in the doubles championship in 1936. Mr C. P. Dixon, British non-playing captain of the Davis Cup team, and Mr C. H. Myem, have resigned from the Lawn Tennis Umpires’ Association owing to being dissatisfied with the manner in which the line umpires were selected for the two Davis Cup ties and the Wightman Cup in 1936. When asked to reconsider their decision they agreed to suspend their resignations, pending the next meeting of the Council.,... , .
