CHRISTCHURCH SUSPECT CASE
NO DEFINITE DIAGNOSIS CONEYITES IN CAMP MEDICAL OFFICER TO INVESTIGATE CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. The child admitted to the Christchurch hospital as an infantile paralysis suspect is still under observation with no definite diagnosis. The Medical Officer of Health, (Dr Telford) left for Methven to-day to investigate the conditions at the camp of the religious sect known as Coneyites. The Ashburton County Council asked for an investigation as over 200 are in camp from all parts of the South Island and more are arriving daily. Yesterday there were 60 persons under 21 years of age in camp.
