MEETING AT OTAKI (By Telegraph—Press Association) OTAKI, This Day. The weather was bright and sunny with a light breeze for the Otaki Maori Racing Club’s Meeting. The course was good and the attendance satisfactory. Results;— . Puketoi Hack Hurdles, of £100; one mile and a half —2 Beau Gallante, 10.11, 1; 3 Midacre, 9.10, 2; 4 Count Willonyx, 9.2, 3. All started. Won by four length, three lengths. Time, 2.48 2-5.
Manuao Maiden Plate, of £7O; six furlongs.—2 Mea-mea, 8.7, 1; 1 Southern _Blood, 8.7, 2; 4 Trimden, 8.7, 3. Scratched: Fair Isle. Won by a length each way. Time, 1.16.
