JILTED GIRL’S SUICIDE
THRILLING DRAMA FOLLOWS BULLETS AT INQUEST (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 19th December, 8.30 a.m.) •BELGRADE, 17th December. A thrilling drama was enacted at . the inquest on a beautiful girl, a • member of one of the most prpminent families here, who shot herself on the pavement outside her parents’ home because she was jilted. The girl, Mila Dimitriyevitch, aged 21 years, during a summer holiday met Zvetozar Stoyanovitch, aged 30 years, the rich son of an ex-member of Cabinet, and who a few minutes before she committed suicide told her that they must part. Mila’s father, giving evidence a't the inquest, whipped out a revolver and fired two shots at Stoyanovitch and then turned the weapon on himself. The lover may recover, but the father fell dead.
The police placed Stoyanovitch under protective arrest.
