Considered the greatest musical operetta to reach the screen “Naughty Marietta,” featuring Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy is shortly to have a revival season in Nelson. Nelson Eddy who is claimed to be the greatest singing discovery on the screen sings such numbers as “I’m Falling in ,Love with Someone,” “Tramp, Tramp, Tramp” and others with Jeanette MacDonald. “Naughty Marietta” is one of the few pictures that can be seen over and over again and still be thoroughly enjoyed each time it is seen. ¥ ¥ ¥ ¥
“JACK OF ALL TRADES”
Jack Hulbert’s new picture' '“Jack of All Trades” contains some of the snappiest musical numbers heard on the screen. The star is seen in full evening dress' dancing his way,along the street (when he has just obtained a job as a waiter) singing “Where There’s ffiu There’s Me.”- Later, a jolly scene in a restaurant finds him with twinkling toes tapping out the rhythm of “Tap Your Tootsies” and again in a romantic setting beside a river he dances and sings with his lady love a song called “You’re Sweeter Than I Thought You Were;” In some of his dance numbers Hulbert is partnered with Gina Malo, one of the cleverest dancers on the screen to-day.
