HOORAY FOR LOVE

New musical numbers by the wellknown song writers, Dorothy Fields and Jimmy McHugh, are featured in RKO Radio’s “Hooray for Love.” Such musical authorities as Jerome Kern and Irving Berlin have tossed bouquets at their new melodies for this show. “You’re An Angel” is sung by Ann Sothern and Gene Raymond, with double piano accompaniment. “I’m In Love All Over Again” is presented in a cafe setting with a fourteen piece orchestra. In a Harlem street setting, Bill Robinson, world’s greatest tap dancer, and Jeni LeGon, present a fastmoving rhythmical composition, “I’m Living in a Great Big Way.” Ann Southern sings “Palsy Walsy” in a smart night club, with a chorus of twelve girls and a college ensemble. The finale number, “Hooray for Love,” is sung by a soloist, with an additional medley of all the numbers sung by the entire company.

“Hooray for Love” is described as a tuneful human interest story.
