WESTPORT ACCEPTANCES

INCREASED PRIZE MONEY CUP EVENT AT TE AROHA (United Press Association) ; TE AROHA, 18th December. The Te Aroha Jockey Club has allotted £5225 in prize-money for its meeting next February. The Herries Memorial Cup will be worth £IOOO and a gold cup, the President’s Handicap £SOO, and the Champion Hack Cup and Waihou Handicap £350 each. No race on the programme will be of less value than £2OO.
