OSSIETZKY DISAPPEARS
LEAVES BERLIN HOSPITAL FEARS EXPRESSED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copy right) BERLIN, 17th December. Herr Ossietzky has disappeared. He left the Berlin hospital in which he was convalescing on 14th December and has not been seen since. Official circles disclaim knowledge of his whereabouts, but his friends are becoming anxious, fearing his re-arrest or worse. Herr Ossietzky is the winner of the 1936 Nobel Prize. He spent a considerable period in a Nazi concentration camp and the German Government objected strongly to the Prize being awarded to him. TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL
