ARGENTINE WHEAT CROP
PRELIMINARY ESTIMATES SHOW LARGE INCREASE (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) BUENOS AIRES, 17th December. The Argentine Statistical Department announced the preliminary esti--6,800.000 metric tons, the largest since 1933, and 655,000 metric tons over the average of the last five years, and 502,000 metric tons over the average for the last ten years. The acreage is estimated at 15.266.000 acres.
