MUSICAL RECITAL

PUPILS OF MISS N. CHING A NOVEL “OVERTURE” The Presbyterian Hall was well filled last evening . when , the pupils of Miss JSTelta Ching L.T.C.L:, L.R.A.M., gave a varied 'programme of musical and elocutionary items. A novel feature of the piogramme was the “Kitchen Overture” featuring the court of “Old King Cole” when the “Three - Fiddlers" introduced an orchestra consisting of kitchen utensils as instruments.

During the evening prizes and examination certificates were presented, the prize winners being :—Diligence, Pat Boyes and Rey Byrne; highest examination marks, Lois Boyes and Josephine Walker.
