“TINY TOWN”
• Thirty of the smallest .people in-the-world will stay, in a specially constructed miniature village during the
Empire Exhibition at Johannesburg, South Africa. Tom Thumb, who claims to be the smallest man in the world—he .is- two.feet-four .inches, high—will have a special cottage. The village will have all the amenities of a small
town—houses, a town hall, club, restaurant, all in miniature, and a theatre seating 300 people. The midgets - who are to inhabit “Tiny Town” range in height from two feet four inches to three feet, and their
ages run from 10 to 39. All accomplished performers, they will give a non-stop variety show in their own theatre. Another feature of the “Tiny Town” will be two of the world’s smallest ponies.
