WELLINGTON SENTENCES ' (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. In the Supreme Court, prisoners were sentenced by the Chief Justice. Sir Michael Myers, as follows: —Fred Henry Bowley, aged 54 years, breaking and entering and theft, .pine months’ imprisonment with hard labour; Arthur Cecil Dailey, aged 38 years, forgery (two charges) and attempted suicide (two charges), eighteen months’ reformative detention; David Leon Thomson, aged 22 years, indecent assault on a male (six charges), breaking and entering and theft (three charges), receiving stolen property (two charges), and breaking and entering with intent • (one charge), three years’ reformative detention; Naw Tamehena, aged 27 years, unlawful carnal knowledge, eighteen months’ imprisonment; Malcolm Victory Smith, aged 28 years, theft as a servant, three years hard labour; Eric Lionel Smith, indecent assault on a male, twelve months reformative detention; Eugene Charms Dominic Patrick McCarthy, aged 28 years, indecent assault on a female, and theft, two years and a half hard labour.
