MAIN HIGHWAYS BOARD
TO MEET LOCAL BODIES ON TUESDAY The Main Highways Board will arrive in Nelson at 12.30 o’clock on Saturday afternoon. In the afternoon the board will inspect the coastal road to Mapua, and on Monday it will go to Motueka, Takaka and Collingwood, returning to Nelson in the evening. At 9 o’clock on Tuesday the board will meet local bodies of Nelson and the surrounding districts, and will depart at 10.30 o’clock the same morning for Picton. The members of the board are as follows: Messrs A. J. Baker, G. A. Barrow, C. J. Talbot, W. Morrison, and M. H. Wynyard. The board is accompanied by two executive officers, Messrs E. W. Albertson, Highways Engineer, and G. W. Knapp, secretary.
