GALE IN WELLINGTON
MAN BLOWN FROM SCAFFOLDING 'United Press Association) WELLINGTON, 25th November. A workman engaged on the new Railway Station, F. R. Norgate, of 32 Dorking road, was blown from the scaffolding at the station this afternoon and had his left leg broken. He was taken to the Public Hospital. Miss Frances Brown, aged 19, of Mornington road, Brooklyn, was blown over near the Hope Gibbons building this afternoon and received injuries which necessitated her being taken to hospital. Gusts of wind at this spot were estimated as exceeding 70 miles per hour. "
