Discussions on aviation questions affecting New Zealand, Australia and Great Britain, with particular reference to a trans-Tasman air mail service will commence in Wellington within the next few days.
The representative of the British Air Ministry (Mr F. C. L. The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) stated to-day that discussions from the New Zealand standpoint would be conducted by a small Cabinet committee, of which the Post-master-General and Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) would be a member.
Mr Savage said that personally he would not take a full part in the discussions, but naturally would keep in close touch with the work of the conference.
