OBITUARY
MR J. T. RADFORD The death occurred this morning of Mr John Thomas Radford, at the age of 69 years. The late Mr Radford’s interest had always been bound up in the progress of Tahunanui, and he had given largely of his time and energy over a long period of years towards assisting in the advancement of the town district. He was at the first connected with the old Progressive Association, and was among those instrumental in the forming of the Town Board, and he acted as Town Clerk since the inception of the Board. On his retirement as Town Clerk about three years ago Mr Radford was successful in being elected a Eoard member. Deceased leaves a widow and two daughters, Mrs A. G. Schroder (Rai Valley) and Mrs A. Borgfeldt (Tahuna).
