AUSTRALIAN SOCCER TEAM
ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND FIRST MATCH ON SATURDAY (By Telegraph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. The first Australian Soccer team to visit the Dominion for thirteen years arrived by the Wanganella to-day and was given .a civic reception by the Deputy-Mayor. The team, which consists of fifteen players drawn from all States except Tasmania, is under the management of Mr G. A. Storey, and will play three tests for the Soccer ashes, at present held by Australia, which were brought across the Tasman by the team in an elaborate casket. The first match is at Auckland on Saturday against the local representatives. Tests will be played- in Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland.
