The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business last week: —There is a better inquiry for wethers. There is a little better demand for ewes. Lambs are in fair demand and it is thought that prices will remain steady at present quotations. Smaller supplies of chilled beef have caused prices to harden.
