I The coroner said that the evidence I did not support the more serious charge of murder. It was reported at the beginning of the month that when he was alleged to have refused to fight a duel with rifles at Boomi, near Mudgee, William Duncombe, aged 32, a farm worker, was shot through the chest and killed • instantly, according to the police.
