‘INCORRIGIBLE ROGUE”
ESCAPED PRISONER SENTENCED (By Telegraph—Press Association) WAIPUKURAU, This Day. William Williams, alias Gordon Ernest Drury, who was sentenced to an aggregate of eighteen months’ imprisonment at Waipawa on Saturday, on three charges of using obscene language to young girls at Otane, escaped yesterday from the yard of the Waipawa gaol, was recaptured last night. He came before the Court again to-day and was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment, to be concurrent with the present team, on a charge of being an incorrigible rogue.
