DQVEDALE JUNIOR BRANCH At the monthly meeting of the Junior Branch, W.D.F.U., Dovedale, there were 20 members present. Mrs Smith, a senior member, also attended. Further arrangements were made for the Birthday Parly which is being held on 26th June. The winner of the flower competition was Miss Rona Win. The competition, “the best crochet beret,” was'won by Miss Edna Fowler, while Miss Tressa Fowler came second. Mrs Smith thanked the girls for the enjoyable afternoon she had spent with them, and for th,e delightful afternoon teg which was served by the hostesses, Misses Tressa Fowler, Mona Win, Leila Hocton and L. Biggs. Miss Verle Burnett’s competition caused quite a lot of fun, the winner of the prize being Miss Joyce Win._
