POLICY OF JAPAN
(Received 13th June, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 12th June. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Tokio correspondent says that Sir Frederick Leith-Ross, Economic Adviser to the Government, following talks on Japan, says he has been assured that Japan will not interfere with British interests in China. On the contrary she desired a better understanding with Britain and a revival of the old friendship.
