Chris Zaliarias, probably one of America’s best-known matmen, will make his initial New Zealand appearance against the versatile Pete Mehringer, 1932 Olympic champion. This contest should be the fastest and hardest yet staged locally. Naturally Zahari as will be out (o make a reputation in this country and it will indeed be interesting to see how lie. will accommodate himself to this country’s conditions as regards wrestling rules.
