The death has occurred at Wangaratta, of Sir John Bowser, Premier of Victoria in 1918 and later Speaker of the Assembly. MR A. H. S. LUCAS (Received 11th June, 10.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr A. : H. S. Lucas, aged 83, one of the foremost educationists and scientists in Australia. MR EDWARD DARCY The death is reported of Mr Edward Darcy, aged 78, father of the late Les Darcy, the world-famous boxer.
