CATAPULTED FROM CAR
: AFTER STRIKING CONCRETE BRIDGE (By Telegraph—Press Association! DANNEVIRKE, This Day. ' While going from Dannevirke to a dance at Woodville last evening a car containing four Dannevirke and two Kiritaki residents struck a concrete bridge on the main road about four miles from Woodville. The car. remained where it struck but the occupants are reported to have all been shot into a creek containing several feet of water. They were res-: cued by the driver of the car Cyril Albert White, who was unhurt, and a motorist who was following. The only one seriously injured was a youth, Trevor Drinkwater, of Dannevirke, who had a leg broken. The other members of the party, including two young women, suffered from abrasions and shock, but not seriously.
