To a mixed excited chorus of hoots and cheers Lofty Blomficld was disqualified in a bout with Paul Boesch last night in the seventh round. Blomfield clapped on an octopus clamp when both men were near the ropes and Boesch conceded a submission fall almost immediately and Blomfield was disqualified by the referee for not making an effort to break the hold. Boesch gained a_ fall earlier in the bout. McCREADY V. SAVAGE BOUT ENDS IN SEVENTH ROUND AUCKLAND, This Day. The wrestling bout, MeCready versus Savage ended in the seventh round with the disqualification of Savage for disobeying the orders of the referee. He had MeCready imprisoned on the ropes near the corner and was indulging in forearm jolting and refused to release the hold and a penalty fall was awarded against him. The referee dragged Savage away but only momentarily, as MeCready was once more pounced upon while still entangled with the ropes.
