MAITAI LODGE
QUARTERLY SUMMONED MEETING ELECTION OF OFFICERS The quarterly summoned meeting of Maitai Lodge No. 15, U.A.0.D., was held in the Orange Hall, Collingwood street, last evening. There was a very large attendance, presided over the the Arch Druid (Bro. W. Ricketts). Visitors present included Bro. H. L. Gibbs (secretary of Shedwood Lodge) and P.A. Bro. A. J. Palmer (Oak of Sydenham Lodge, Christchurch).
An official visit was received from rue District President (Bro. W. W. Delaney) who was accorded full Druidic honours.
One candidate was initiated as a full benefit member, and another was proposed for the next meeting. A letter was received, and invitation accepted, from the Pioneer Lodge No. 19 (juvenile branch) inviting members of Maitai Lodge to be present at the installation of officers on Monday, Gth June. Sick visitors, surgeon’s and committee reports were received and adopted.
The nomination and election of officers for the ensuing six months resulted as follows: A.D., Bro. H. Ricketts; V.A., Bro. R. Hill; J.P.A., Bro. W. Ricketts; secretary, Bro. T. Vercoe; treasurer, Bro. K. Jones; 1.G., Bro. E. Fryer; 0.G.. Bro. C. Hebberd; A.D.B.’s, Bros. E. Preen and C. Pickwell: V.A.B.’s, Bros. E: Johnston and H. Low; minute secretary, Bro. AV. J. Bray; organist, Bro. Pickwell; M.C., Bro. P. Smalley; auditor, Bro. Bray. The installation of officers will take place on Monday. Bth June. The following were electee? as mem-
