FRONTIER FORTIFICATIONS
LOAN FOR CZECHOSLOVAKIA (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 26th May, 12.5 p.m.) PRAGUE, 25th May. The Government plans an internal loan of £24,000,000. It is understood it is devoting the proceeds to fortification of the frontiers, aiming that it will benefit not only the armament but all industries. The Government proposes to place some armament orders abroad on condition that payment is accepted in the form of products of Czech non-armament factories.
