WAR MEMORIAL WINDOW
FOR CANTERBURY COLLEGE LONG DELAY IN DELIVERY (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. After a long and as yet fruitless wait for the War Memorial window ordered several years ago, the patience of the Canterbury College council is exhausted. At yesterday’s meeting the council adopted the following report of the college committee: “That in view of the inexcusable delay in receiving the College War Memorial window, the council communicate with the artist, Martin Travers, stating that its patience is exhausted and asking the earliest possible date by which the window can be shipped for New Zealand.”
