Miss Turner of the British Syrian Mission will give this evening at 7.30 in the Baptist Church, Bridge street, a lantern lecture on the work of the Mission. She has a most interesting story of her personal experiences with the work and its workers. To-morrow afternoon at 3 o’clock, Miss Turner will speak in the library of Marsden Church House and there will be a display of curios and costumes. In the evening Miss Turner will repeat her lantern lecture in the Richmond Baptist Church.
