To start with Mr Anthony Eden, our Foreign Secretary. is a wartime ex-Gwards olli/er, with MX. Mr Dull' Cooper, our War Minister and Jfuig biographer, is another ex-Guardsman, and a D.S.O. Morrison, Mr Chamberlain’s Financial Secretary and next < for Cabinet promotion, another gunner with the M.C. Then there is Captain Euan Wallace, the only Regular soldier of the lot, with another M.C., and finally Mr Douglas Hacking, the new chairman of the Conservative party, who served with the blast Lancs, was mentioned in despatches, and also got his M.C.
