MATURING TREASY NOTES

WASHINGTON, 21st May. The Secretary of the Treasury, Mr 11. Morgenthau, jun., announced' that the Treasury is to float a bond issue of 1,000,000.000 dollars or more - on Ist June to refinance maturing Treasury notes and meet soldiers’ bonus payments.
