CLEAR AND odNNY An unbroken spell of fine, sunny weather has prevailed all the week. A cold south-easterly Kept the temperature down yesterday, the, maximum temperature being only .57.4 degrees, although the day was sunny and bright, with 8 hours of sunshine. The night was cold with quite a severe frost of 3.(5 degrees, and n sunny cloudless day followed to-day.' The government Research Orchard recorded 8 degrees of frost.
Fine weather was general throughout tlic Dominion to-day, with mainly easterly winds. Frost was experienced in places, Christchurch having ten degrees.
