KORERE-MOTUPIKO BRANCH
ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the KorereMotupikU branch of the Farmers’ Union was held at Motnpiko. Owing to adverse weather the attendance was small, but representative.
'The chairman, Mr W. R. North, after paying a tribute to the memory of our late King, gave a resume of work done by the Union during the past year. A vote of thanks accorded to the chairman was carried by acclamation.
The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Chairman. ALAI. G. C. Newport-; vice-chairmen (2), Mr V. R. Nicholls, Mr W. if. K. Gibbs; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr J. AV. Hole; lion, auditor, Air AV. B. North; delegate to Provincial Conference, Mr M. G. C. Newport: member to Provincial executive, .Air AA'\ B. North; the following were elected to branch executive committee. Messrs A. Palmer, R. Qninney, AV. M. R. Gibbs, A’. R. Nicholls, A. M. J. Newport, A. Randall. L. Mead, G. L. Mead, AV. B. North. After some further business the meeting closed with informal talks and supper around the fire.
