Dr. David Lang, M.A., D.D.. who addressed the Rotary Club and a Ministers’ Association meeting to-day, left bv plane for Wellington this afternoon. He plans to spend 5 days in Wellington. after which he will visit Christchurch, Invercargill and Dunedin. Feeling reference to the personal dualities of the late Rev. W. J. Williams and his fine contribution to local .and Dominion-wide Methodism was made bv the Rev. W. Rowe at St. John’s Church hist Sunday evening. The congregation rose as a mark of esteem and sympathy, and special prayer was offered on behalf of those who have “loved and lost awhile.”
Mr and Mrs Haviland Green, who on a recent visit to Nelson, bought a house at the Port, have spent the six months of the European winter in Spain, and the Balearic Isles. They planned- to leave Paris by air and with the aid of a ear. to toiir England and Scotland, and return to New Zealand in the latter part of this year.
