OTAGO UNIVERSITY
REQUEST FOR GOVERNMENT GRANT NEW BUILDINGS NECESSARY (United Press Association) DUNEDIN, 20th May. A decision to approach the Government for a grant for the erection of necessary buildings for Otago University was reached at a meeting of the university council yesterday. Discussion followed the receipt of a letter from tlie medical faculty stating that the honorary staff was prepared to "lake a grant of £ISOO from the staff fund for the erection and equipment of a second lecture theatre at the hospital.
