JOCKEYS SUSPENDED
AT MOONEE VALLEY RACES BUSY TIME FOR STIPENDARY STEWARDS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) MELBOURNE, 20th May. The stipendary stewards at the Mooncc Valley Racing Club had the busiest day for many years to-day, when six jockeys were suspended for various offences. Those suspended were IT. Badger, three months’ for interference; A. Dewhurst, two months’ for crowding; A. bourke, two months’ for interference ; F. Devallc, one month, for giving misleading evidence at the inquiry; G. Newton, one month for interference; A. Gough, one month, for interference. In addition, A. Loddcrs was reprimanded for interference and all the riders in one race were reprimanded for not giving their mounts a preliminary.
