PRIVATE ADVICE IN AUCKLAND (By Telegraph—Press Association; AUCKLAND, This Day. A private cable was received in Auckland stating that Mr H. H. Knight and his wife, of Auckland, who were reported in yesterday’s cables to be in danger from Communist troops in China, are safe and had begun their return to the province of Kansu. They could not therefore have been in Hungtung.
