MELBOURNE. 24th March. Tlio largest fire ever witnessed at Ballarat occurred to-day and destroyed the Coliseum Theatre, which seats 6COO neople and has been the scene of youth Street competitions since 1905. Fifteen thousand feet of film ignited, petting fire to the building, which was of wood and galvanised iron. The Athenaeum Theatre and other adjoining buildings also suffered lhe total damage is upward of £35,000.
