CALIFORNIAN VISIT CANCELLED . TREASURER DISAPPEARS (United Presa Association— By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, 22nd March. It is announced that the Oxford University’s Rugby tour of California lias been cancelled, mainly due to the fact that the treasurer of the South California Rugby Union has disappeared and £2OOO raised for the expenses of the tour is missing. A Avarrant has been issued for the apprehension of the treasurer.
An offer by the film actor, Boris Karloff, aa'lio is at present in London, financially to assist the - team Avas not accepted.
