“TRAFALGAR SHIELD” CHAD LENGE MATCH
A challenge match for the “Trafalgar Shield,” played at the Jubilee. Bowling Green last evening, between Maitai Colts (Bothwell. Day. Martyn, and White (s). and P. and T. (Kennedy. Oakly Bray and MacLeod (s), the holders,'resulted in a win .for the former team. ~ . , The “Trafalgar Shield ’ has been presented by Mr J. Kyle, for competition between teams representing Government departments, business houses, factories, institutions, clubs, etc., and already some keen games have been played. Several new challenges have been received, and indications point to a period of spirited competition for the shield.
