PRAYER BOOK

An Order-in-Council amends the Prayer Book, indicating King Edward’s name and replacing King George’s in prayers and collects for the King, and Albert( Duke of York) and the Duchess of York are inserted in the prayers for the Royal Family instead of the Prince of Wales.
The order enjoins the clergy to amend prayers with a pen, pending a new edition of Common Prayer.
