BUILDING ACTIVITY
FURTHER INCREASE IN WELI.ING* TON (By Telegraph—Press Association* WELLINGTON, This Day. The building figures for the city of Wellington to the end of last _ year show a further increase in building activity during the nilie months of the financial year. The figures for the month of December alone showed a considerable increase over Decenbei, 1934. During the nine months ended 31st December, 1933, the value oi building permits issued totalled £371,971. During the same, period in 1934 the total increased to £447.360, and between March and December last year they advanced to £516,010.
